Almond-Crusted Turkey Breast Recipe with Olive Oil

Ingredients 

  • 4 turkey breast cutlets (about 1 lb) 
  • 1 cup almond flour 
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Salt and black pepper to taste 
  • 2 large eggs, beaten 
  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil 
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish

Directions 

1. Prep the Turkey Cutlets: Pat the turkey cutlets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper to taste. 

2. Prepare the Almond Coating: In a shallow dish, mix together the almond flour, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 

3. Dip the Cutlets: In another shallow dish, beat the eggs. Dip each turkey cutlet in the beaten eggs, then dredge in the almond flour mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly. 

4. Cook the Turkey: Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the almond-crusted turkey cutlets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the crust is golden brown and the turkey is cooked through. 

5. Serve: Serve the turkey cutlets hot, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh herbs if desired.
